Welcome to Bill Splitter (the “App”), developed by Ruben Mendoza (referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our”). - No Data Collection: All functionality, including person names, item entries, price calculations, tax rates, and tip percentages, operates entirely offline on your device. All bill splitting data is stored locally on your device for your convenience only and is not sent to our servers or third parties.
- Device Permissions: The App uses only standard iOS permissions for basic operation (e.g., screen display, keyboard input). No additional permissions (e.g., camera, location, contacts) are requested or required.

How We Use Information
Since no information is collected or transmitted, there is no usage, processing, or analysis of data by us. The App serves as a local calculation tool to help you fairly split bills among friends and family. All calculations and data remain exclusively on your device.

We do not share, sell, or disclose any information because none is collected or transmitted. The App is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store for users in the US and Canada, and Apple handles all distribution without our involvement in user data.
Data Security
Your data security is paramount. The App uses standard iOS data storage for any locally saved bill information on your device. We recommend keeping your iOS device updated and using strong passcodes. As all data is stored locally, you can clear it at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app or clearing app data through iOS settings.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for general audience use and is not specifically directed at children under 13 years of age. It does not knowingly collect information from children, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable Canadian laws.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. Updates will be posted within the App and on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
